On behalf of IJABO CLINICS LTD and IJABO SCHOOL OF MASSAGE THERAPY AND BODYWORK, I warmly welcome you and thank you for your interest in our mission to professionalise and transform Massage Therapy Practice in Rwanda and in the region. Our Institution was established to bridge the wider skills gap in Massage Therapy global labour market in Massage Therapy and Rwanda’s development agenda under Vision 2050 and NST2, which emphasize skills development, employment creation, and human capital growth for a healthier and more productive society.
At IJABO, we believe that Massage Therapy is not a luxury service, but a scientific, clinical, and professional discipline with an essential role in health promotion for overall quality of life optimization, preventive and rehabilitative model of healthcare. Massage Therapy goes beyond clinical walls to hospitality, sports, rehabilitation medicine, and the wellness industry. Our training approach is competency-based and outcome-driven blended learning, combining structured learning, hands-on practice, and strong industry collaboration to produce ethical, confident, and job-ready professionals to set the Massage Therapy professional tone in practice.
Our graduates are trained to deliver safe, individualised, and client-centred Massage Therapy services that support relaxation, stress reduction, physical recovery, pain management, preventive care, and overall well-being. Through close collaboration with key stakeholders in health, academics, professional bodies and agencies, hospitality, and development partners, we ensure our programmes remain relevant, credible, and impactful.
The school also offers professional training courses in; Fitness Training, Reflexology, Hair-dressing, Facial Care, Make-up, and Nail Care.
We welcome prospective trainees, parents, partners, sponsors, and well-wishers to join us in shaping a new generation of Professionals who will set high standards of practice and contribute to the growth of healthcare, hospitality and wellness industry in Rwanda and beyond.
